Reasons We Love Virginia

We took a small hike on Sunday afternoon and stumbled on these sites. These pictures represent reasons that we love Virginia.

Good education:

Fun people to be with:

Beautiful scenery (isn't Rachel a great photographer?):

Sleeping beauties:

Obstacles to overcome:

Women that work out:

Crabtree Falls, Sunday. Good times. If you visit, we'll take you on a hike. A great hike.

  1. Looks like fun!! I'd totally do the hike with you, but I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't make it up that crevice Rachel was in... I could possibly die on the mountain. But, it sounds like fun!! :)

  2. Hi there, Mahan's!! I am a friend of Melissa and went to school with her and Kevin. Anywho - My husband and I lived in VA for several years we went to the Natural Bridge? Have you been there?? it's pretty neat. There are also caverns there to explore too. Might be a fun weekend for you!

  3. Wish I was there! That looks pretty amazing. You know I have NEVER been to Crabtree Falls! Isn't that where this is at? Hmm, makes me think of going to the Marbleyard with Daniel and him shimming up those rocks in super quick form. Nothing keeps crazy men down.

  4. @ Miss, Rachel's explorations are optional! She's an explorer at heart. We have some good hikes that you all can go on once the family is all older than 6 years old.

@ Erin, of course I know who you are Erin! We haven't gone up to Natural Bridge yet. Our destinations are on the way to the Bridge. We like Devil's Marble Yard a lot. Thanks for the advice, we'll probably check it out this summer.

@ Jason, Crabtree brings up great memories. That's where I convinced your R.A. partner to do a really, really, difficult sit-up. It spread like wildfire from there.
